Things I Should Have Told You

Photo: Favimages

Hey ya! It's August and July just flew so fast, so let's expect floods of "August be good to me." As I've said, months have nothing to do with your life and your productivity.

As for the first day of August, I have so many things to say and I can't say it, or maybe, I just don't. I don't know why am I doing this entry, but, I just want to spare a time now classifying my friends and these random people I've known under this chart of words. Mostly annoyance because it's easier to say good things in person, less offensive. I could keep this in mind and act like a dope for talking behind my nerve cell, however, it's insane to do it alone. I'm not that too vocal in person, so if you think that I don't have something or anything to say about you, it doesn't always go that way. Friends, and random ones, if you feel like I'm talking to you, that's great!

1. Not because your simple, means you're not pretty. You're one of the prettiest girl to ever set feet on earth.

2. You're eloquent and a good speaker. If you do argue with others, don't think that you're a troublemaker. You're just putting up a good fight because you know what is right from wrong.

3. Are you gay? If no, are you sure?

4. Your sincere sorry will bring back what we've lost. But I'm afraid you could not give it. I know you, but people change. Right?

5. Stop being bitter about other's success. If they are becoming on top, it's because they struggle a lot and you don't.

6. Don't brag about your gadgets. Mind telling you, it came from your parents' savings and not yours. So shut the fuck up! You haven't proved anything yet.

7. Stop judging others and don't act like you're perfect. Respect each other's differences.

8. Wag kang tanga! Niloloko ka na, gusto mo pa din. Walang award diyan.

9. You are funny. You make things laughable all the time. Thank you! Continue giving joy and smile to everyone, even if it often ends to mocking someone.

10. Wag kang magparamdam pagka't di kita mararamdaman! Kati mo!

11. I know that in times of trouble, and when you're in need, that's the only time you'll reach for me. In short, you are a user.

12. Puro ka yabang at papogi! Para kang bulalo!

13. Sometimes, I feel like there's an unfair treatment in our circle. Sometimes I feel like I don't belong for being a guy with a lot of things to say regarding this or that, while the rest don't have. I even feel like comparison is there, between the guy you all like and the guy you think is the kindest for putting no words in any matters. Sometimes your jokes appear to be hurtful, but I tend to behave and say nothing because it's useless and CLEARLY UNFAIR. If I crack joke towards you, you have the right to get mad and all, but if you crack joke against me, all I could do is just shut, because if I get mad, you'll get mad too (joke nga lang eh, bakit nagagalit ka? Nakakainis ka). Can I get an equal share of behavior and treatment?

14. WALA KANG PAKIALAM KUNG NAG EENGLISH AKO! SIGURO DI KA MARUNONG MAG ENGLISH KAYA KA NAKIKIALAM! INGGIT YAN! GAGAMITIN KO YUNG SALITANG GUSTO KONG GAMITIN AT KUNG SAN AKO KOMPORTABLE! MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS! (All caps para intense)

15. Stop your paranoia. It makes things worst. If you continue this, you'll find yourself alone, without friends and buying happiness from shopping cart.

16. I don't feel any pity on you and it doesn't make me heartless. It wouldn't define me. If your life is jammed with mishaps, it's all your cause, 'cause you're a terrible person. I told you, karma finds its own way to strike.

17. You're not living in a monastery to get mad at us whenever you hear us speaking malicious stuff. Try to open your eyes and you'll see that you're barefooted on this shaded world. Tell me, if ever you get married, wouldn't you have a sexual intercourse with him? Silly! That's the reality! Be open-minded, we're not green-minded, you're just a narrow-minded.

18. You are intelligent and an encyclopedic woman. I admire you for that. I'd like to hang out with you. I just can't approach you.

19. Don't look for a faithful guy when you can't even be faithful. Stop saying "wala ng matinong lalaki at stick to one" because you can never have something proper when you're improper! The hell!

20. Stop being an underdog! You should shine and rise! You've got something to say and show.

21. Hey man! Being single won't make you ugly, and not necessarily mean you are. It's not the end of  your world. Things happen for a reason. God is good.

22. Why do you stalk my social media accounts? WHY?

23. Don't let others define you. Just do what's your passion. If they criticize your work, know how to defend it. Don't get yourself on knee. They're just insecure because you're doing better. Proceed on your passion to draw.

24. I ain't competing. If we're both engaging in art industry, so be it. We have different style. Here's the thing, you are having an art class as part of your college program and I'm not taking any, but I can literally create an art.

25. There's nothing wrong if you are mingling with your RK (rich kid) friends, do things and glass raising with them, you can squander your money the way how they slide theirs on the table, IF! If you you've got something to say in life. Your family is suffering from a financial problem, and what you actually does right now is not a sign of maturity. Social climber at its finest!

26. Please stop copying and pasting my facebook status, and even personal tweets, particularly my OWN IDEAS! Don't take the credits.

27. Your talent is so so so great! You are already professional at your young age. I am so inspired whenever you work with your paintings, arts in multimedia and sketches. Idol na nga kita eh! I want to be like you. Can't believe I want to be the person whose age is just a year younger hahaha!

28. You cannot use your "gwapo" face to endow for your future. You need SKILLS! Pleasing personality may be adhesive in job qualifications, but what will happen if these leaders are in search for multi-talented?

29. You're one of the nicest and humblest stylist I've ever met. You're a great person and I'm happy that you are as you are. I'll salute you everyday.

30. Hi bitch! Be informed

31. You're just a friend and will always be. I'm sorry but that's all. Nothing more, nothing less.

32. Thank you for being kind to me and for being there whenever I need a great friend.

33. Sorry for the shortcomings as your friend. I know you're upset, but I'll make it up to you. I miss you!

34. Gusto kong sabihin na kulto yang relihiyon mo! Wala kayong ibang ginawa kundi laiitin yung relihiyon namin. Kakabanas kayo!

Tangina mo! Gago! Napakasama ng ugali mo! Puro ka satsat wala ka namang utak!

36. Thank you for the help and for the moral support whenever I have works to do. You always believe in my aptitude. Thank you so much!

37. Stop commenting on someone's political deeds. You're not even good at it!

38. Shit! Napakaganda mo! Crush na crush talaga kita :(

39. I really feel sad now that you're no longer together :( you guys are really compatible to each other. Hope there's a second chance for the both of you. Even though you're both guys.

40. I love you so much! Nothing would be the same if you did not exist. You've come in the most unexpected way. Please bear with my mood and have more patience. Sorry for being "pasaway". I am the luckiest guy because I have you. I miss you so much! :)

Conventional February 14

There is nothing much to say about yesterday's Feast of Saint Valentine (Valentine's day). It was actually conventional but intoxicating. Apparently, V day is not only for couples, but a day to celebrate with family and friends. And so we've been into boys' day out. Jheremy, Patrick, Lester and I considered ours a Valentine's Day but more likely a chilling time in Bonifacio Global City. I was actually shock to see that the place is getting popular to "Jejemons", particularly the High Street. Quite disappointing. The place is losing its sophistication, honestly speaking.

Don't make fuss about the V day, and if you're single, don't feel dismay. Life goes on, symmetrically, people do come and go too, aforementioned, there's always a precised time for everything.

Happy Talking

Being an extrovert means being affable too. Talking and expressing have become vital to me, whether sensible or none. When random things go on, you'll start having weird conversations and sarcasms if your friend's demented or the other way around.

** My sister and I having a lunch... (chicken is the viand, that's why it's all about chickens)

Ava: hey! What's the difference between chicken and hen?
Miggy: chicken is a male chicken, while hen is a female chicken that lay eggs, or maybe, chicken is a native one, and hen is a... uhm.... a... hen?
Ava: WHAT??? what the f*ck are you talking about? Stupid!
Miggy: really? Well differentiate them.
Ava: (paused) chicken is what we are currently eating, while hen is what we see outside.
Miggy: ha!-ha!-ha! very funny, nice try kiddo!!
Ava: oh well stupid guy, what is a rooster?
Miggy: roosters do cockfight.
Ava: roosters are the nagsasabong..
Miggy: did I f*cking say that? Para kang gago!

** During our outing. Me and a girl-friend of ours grilling barbecues and hotdogs..

Friend: aaayyy! wala na! nahulog na! taenes.
Miggy: Alin?
Friend: yung hotdog!!
Miggy: wala pa namang isang minuto yan oh! Kapag nahulog ang pagkain sa lupa at wala namang sauce, quite edible pa yan. Pulutin mo na! Isa, dalawa, tatlo, pwede pa yan!
Friend: kadiri kaya, may germs na eh! kahit ba wala pang 5 segundo, mabilis kumalat ang germs no!
Miggy: De itapon mo! Jusmiyo 'tong taong 'to, pinahihirap ang buhay. Pati ba naman yan pinoproblema pa.
(all of a sudden, she's flip-flopping the hotdog back on the griller)
Miggy: oh! bakit binabalik mo sa ihawan?
Friend: sayang eh! baka mamatay yung germs pag ininit :)
Miggy: (I was like, OH F*CKING HUMAN'S PSYCH!)

** While buying fruits in a public market, with this lady vendor and a friend of mine..

Miggy: hi, goodafternoon, how much for the apple?
Vendor: eto hijo, isang piraso, sampung piso.
Miggy: no, no per kilo po (slang the po, as pow!)
Vendor: ay, ano ba 'to? Foreigner?
Friend: naku! ale sorry ho, Filipino ho yan..........
(then I looked at my friend with wide eyes, tryin' to say "ideny mo")
Friend: kaso ho lumaki sa America, kaya medyo di pa ho sanay ng Tagalog.
Vendor: ah kaya pala! mukhang Koreano ato.
Friend: may pagkasingkit ho kasi diba? saka yung syle ng buhok, at yung kulay.
(then the vendor's kids started looking at me with an observing eye)
Miggy: (controlling my laugh, pretending that I don't understand them)
Friend: salamat ho.
Miggy: thank you po (slang)
Friend: gago ka! Mapapahamak pa tayo sa ginagawa mo eh. English ka pa ha iiwan na kita!
Sarap kaya mantrip. Saka wala namang nagtataka eh.

I guess this bearing's pretty much deceiving, that's why. Haha

** Chatting to a guy friend, talking about Snooki Polizzi being killed on twitter...

Miggy: what's wrong with the twitter users? Killing someone who's actually kicking.
Alex: who?
Miggy: they killed Snooki on Twitter, on trending topics, Worldwide "RIP SNOOKI"
Alex: Snooki? Snooki Serna? yung nagblusang itim?
Miggy: Snooki Serna ka diyan! Snooki Polizzi, Snooki from the Jersey Shores. If si Serna 'to, she's surely a famous local actress for the foreign people to talk about her. Utak dre! Utak! Hahaha
Alex: Wow! Talino mo eh! Who's she?
Miggy: google her
Alex: (googling) don't recognize her at all, haha! Malaki dede, mukhang pokpok. bitch yata 'to eh.
Miggy: hahahaha! Maka lait. Nalib*gan ka naman!
Alex: Baka? Di ko trip mga mukhang sabog.

** While watching TV with my friend

Miggy: Powerpuff girls na naman pinapanood mo?
Anna: favorite ko kaya 'to. Di nakakasawa... May naiisip lang ako, Miggyboy.
Miggy: What is it?
Anna: It was reserved long time ago, kung pinapanood natin 'to ngayon, siguro dalaga na sila Blossom, Bubbles at Buttercup.
Miggy: hahaha! Kasing tanda na natin, ganun?
Anna: yuh! Like in 20's.
Miggy: I didn't know that animated characters do grow like real ones do.
Anna: who knows?

** Conversing with a Korean living around the vicinity in Paranaque

Mr. Khang: what are those girls doing with other Koreans?
Miggy: I don't know. Maybe they're dating or living together.
Mr. Khang: Aist! No! Girls here in the Philippines are butterflies
Miggy: huh? What do you mean butterflies?
Mr. Khang: Paru-paro. You know, daming lalake.
Miggy: like prostitues? No! That's not true. Don't say that. Not all are paru-paro.
Mr. Khang: kaya kami nauubos pera kasi paru-paro sila
Miggy: anak ng pucha! Head butt-in kaya kita o pa-deport sa Pilipinas?
Miggy: never mind, I said don't generalize all. Be wiser the next time you'd get a girl.
Mr. Khang: (talking in Korean)
Miggy: langya!

New Year, New You

School has started its whirlpool-like synopsis today and I really felt indolent earlier since I got used of the long vacation which I really took advantage of pigging out back and forth, but hell I needed to pack my things and sit for a longer period of time listening to distinct questions and discussions.

It has been the common layout when you get in school to share your new year's resolution which is sort of fibber that goes against yourself just to have one even when you really don't have.

Oh well, I do have my own resolutions and hopefully, I could take stand to these this 2015.

On School

  •  I'm gonna give less opinion regarding our school activities. This is somewhat negative to deprive myself but I'm living with the "less talk, less misjudgment" catchphrase. They see your one mistake rather than seeing your innumerable good deeds and help.
  • No more babbling in class.
  • I will leave the "Manyana habit" (mamaya na) behind.
  • My classmates call me as an "activist" because I use to oppose countless plans from our instructors, a querulous to be specific, so being a good follower will do.
  • No more verbal bullying. Peace! I'm so sorry. I was under pressure that time.
  • Avoid being too much brood and take things with proper assessment.
  • I will save money and refuse to buy irrelevant things.
  • I'm gonna eat on time.
  • I'm gonna be patient on waiting for the next class even though there's a 3 to 4-hour interval. Haha!
  • Worry less and smile all the time even things get worst.

I'm a last-minute student, meaning, I work hard during last terms. It's a negative trait but I think I won't change it. My brain cells work rapidly during rush hour.

On Life

  • Less carbohydrates. Tummy's getting bigger. Ugh!
  • Will do exercises without grievance.
  • I'm gonna be frugal, as in really!
  • Say no to indolence and make my mom proud! Hahaha
  • I'm somewhat gullible so I'll be at less.
  • I'll take things serious if it requires a lot of attention and focus.
  • I'm gonna be wiser when it comes to love. Say no to stupidity!
  • I will become less irascible or cranky.
  • Start diminishing bad words. I guess eradicating them is much better.
  • I'm gonna be optimistic no matter what happens.

I won't rely on the angular changes of months and won't probably blame the period of time for all the mishaps in my life because it's all my doing and exertion, so stop saying "January please be good to me", 'cause month has nothing to do with your productivity, it's all in you.

I'm hoping to see very kind doing these things without brutalizing myself too much. Haha! Let's seize this year!

On Society: Cheatville

I'm giving this entry a shot as we bid goodbye to year 2014. Let's all leave the drama that we have, most especially all the ignorance and stupidity in us together with the passing year. If you're vacuous in love or in your relationship, better start your 2015 with awareness and have an eye to the society of cheatville. Be perceptive about infidelity.

Why do people cheat?

  • Passion has faded
  • Partners feel lonely
  • People find someone who treats them better more than their current partner
  • Discontentment
  • Temptations are at risk and they can't resist it
  • They just want to end the relationship
  • Social influence (oftentimes shown by parents)
  • People cheat because they pay attention to what is missing rather than what they have

Infidelity has an adverse effects such as depression, divorce for married couple and worst, suicide and homicide

Since infidelity is a very sensitive discussion, it connotes certain related explanations. Individualism may come. Referring to genders, men are likely to commit infidelity at large than women, because men have higher testosterone which is responsible for the strong desire to have sexual intercourse which is the main course of cheating.

Personality can be an answer too. People who are less attentive with less resistance can be a cheater too because it's their own cultured disposition.

Lastly, having a lot of dissimilar context from the partner is more expose to infidelity, especially when the other one is competitive in terms of attainment, educational background and other factors, in short, infidelity roots from intimidation and insecurity.

Why is it hard for a human to become faithful and loyal?

Personally, I think humans are really vulnerable when it comes to cognitive process to take good care and save their relationship when on rocks. It's not really hard when your psyche is firm in terms of committing in a relationship.

In some situational cases, people who are spending time with attractive people and exposed in wider metropolitan which liberalism is a mainstream, makes the scene tempting for them to engage in deception.

If the person lied, would it make him a cheater?

Lies pertain to cheating and cheating is betrayal. When the person is betrayed by his partner through lies, he becomes a victim of infidelity as for some people who have considered lying as a form of cheating.

Seemingly true, cheating and lying are close to the same thing, but if you would analyze their own extremities, they have difference.

To make myself precise and definite, I'd like to quote this:
"You can lie without cheating, but you can't certainly cheat without lying"

(I once lied but I didn't cheat. How was that? There were certain things that I had to deny and keep just to avoid verbal fights. Cheating includes having an affair, having sex with anybody, dating other persons when you're committed, and I've committed none any of those relationship crimes. I know you'll defend the epigram about being honest even if it'd hurt them, but for some it's better to know nothing about the truth 'cause what he doesn't know won't hurt him and so as I intended, nakakagago pero totoo. Once a lie will always be a lie, whether small or big, reasonable or of little depth, sabi niya.

Infidelity ba yun?

Lies actually damage the relationship because trust is the main foundation of the growing relationship, but cheating is the plague that injects deep emotional pain.

How to heal from cheating?

  •  Since you’re both working on change, be patient. You need time to heal from the betrayal and your partner needs time to heal from the guilt. There's always a time for everything.
  • Be upfront and honest with about what hurts you, what scares you and what makes you angry. Try not to rehash old stuff repeatedly.
  • You have to let the pain in and when it hurts you, let the pain go away and from there, you'd know how to deal with it and start anew.

How to avoid cheating/being cheated?

  • Appreciate your partner. Love them unconditional with the best you could give.
  •  Talk about both perceptions and thoughts about infidelity because everyone defines certain things with different interpretations.
  • Trust your hunches.  They're usually based on facts filed away just below conscious level according to research.

Piece of advice
  • If you've been cheated, live your life well and live happy. There is nothing more vengeful but to look good and be joyful.
  • If you're going to cheat, think twice, karma will find its own way to hurt you back.
  • If your partner is accusing you of cheating, he or she's actually the one who is deceitful.
  • Tell truthful things even if it makes them angry
  • If they are acting extra nice for no reason, they are probably cheating on you
  • Cheaters are weak-minded, and insecure.

Don't enclose yourself on "once a cheater, always a cheater” because if the person is involved in a well-matched partnership, it diminishes or eliminates their desire to cheat, making them dedicated and stick-to-one, so that epigram does not have to girdle on you.

As the year strips, I'm hoping for better persons in their relationship, better in terms of being a keeper and not a destroyer, wiser and not dope.

Have a fruitful year everyone!

Social Climber's Village

It's been a long time since I last updated this blog, and now I'm tryin' to continue this orthodox sense towards things that may come in and out.

This post is hauled from my own experiences, and lately, I encountered another pissing scenario in Starbucks which branch is located somewhere in Malolos City, Bulacan. I almost thought that it is the worst branch to ever visit since they've got the most ill-mannered customers. I was having a conversation with my friend in Starbucks and since she's a very close friend of mine since I was teenage, we don't really care at all about the phraseology we are using and we believe that there's no obstruction or restriction of English in Starbucks 'cause obviously the place is designed to be "classy" in the Philippines, and people often go there to spare time relaxing and de-stressing, more likely for office workers, students and other individuals who want to chitchat and talk about their business and other stuff, so we don't need to get surprised if we hear people speaking in English.

In the middle of our conversation, we heard this girl murmured "nasa Pilipinas naman kasi eh." My forehead furrowed when I heard that 'cause I knew that she was referring about our diction as if like hinting us indirectly to speak Tagalog instead and that was very rude to intrude, especially meddling to something that's none of your business so I insinuated "kung di nakakaintindi ng English, wag na lang makinig, nakikikinig na nga lang nagrereklamo pa." Then my friend restrained me from firing back again 'cause she's pretty much aware that if the bombarding proceeds, there'll be an intense argument between the rude girl and our party. I didn't mind the next attack of the girl because I'd appear ungentle to provoke a woman and I know my circumstance that time, we just let her rant on her own facing her girl friend.

After few minutes, we're done with our business in the coffee shop so we stood up and ready to leave. My friend came closer to the girl and she said "miss, kung English man kami magusap, wala ka na dun. Starbucks po 'to, so expect mo na makarinig ng mga nag e-English kasi it's very normal naman in such place like this. Show some respect naman po"

To the girl's surprised, she looked at my friend and said "Bakit? Inaano ba namin kayo?"  The other girl isn't saying anything but she looked so embarrassed about her friend's manner. I don't want an intense dispute because my friend is a girl and she's also confronting a girl so I tried to pull my friend from her arm and asked her to leave.

We've shared our cents to them so I guess a cat fight between those girls isn't required at all and we were in public. We're the educated people so it's very neutral to avoid a mediocre or worst, a derp.

With that experience, my notion about social climbing emerged as a serious problem of the society. I defined the girl to be a social climber at its finest 'cause she doesn't know any of the things that go around in the coffee shop. I'm not sure if she's a patron of the shop or just a new one from the mountain trying new stuff. I am fairly alarmed that we were in the right place to speak English which is very innate to us.

   What is SOCIAL CLIMBING!

   Yung nagfefeeling na mayaman.

   Hindi ba sila nahihiya? Tsk

Syempre hindi! Makakapal nga mukha nila eh.

"YOU CAN'T ALWAYS PLEASE THE SOCIETY!" This has been the common quotation we live throughout the day whenever we're distraught, that sometimes we have to do better or have something better to fit in to the society, but the truth is we don't really need to fit in, we just have to learn how to be proud of oneself and not by putting too much comparison towards others.

Anyway, I made list of these Social Climbers and arrogant people that I happened to see and I've encountered. I'm making this post not to cause harm and fight to anybody, but as a lesson and awareness.

Let's roll it down......

1.)  The DSLR Cameras.. I really want to wrap the strap of that camera around your neck and choke you to death!! Camera will always be a camera and not an I.D. okay lang isabit yan sa leeg ninyo, kasi hindi naman yan handy-dandy pero bakit pati sa mall? Sa simbahan? Sa sementeryo? Pati pagbili sa supermarket may nakasabit na DSLR? Ano 'to? Bagong I.D? Wala naman sa mukha mo naka DSLR!

2.)  Texting your friends that you're partying in an exclusive and high-class club, but, you're actually partying in a cheap bar. I don't get these people why they have to brag about it? It wouldn't define your class when you just paid the entrance fee without the cocktails and liquors to haze you out

3.)  Memorizing Fashion Designers name and some International brands. You can specify the name of the designer but I'm sure na di ganun ka broad yung knowledge mo sa set of works niya. Kaya if I were you, titigilan ko ang pagtitweet o status sa names nila at other brands kung ayaw mong masabihan na nagfifeeling.

4.)  Angular tweets saying "I'M ENJOYING MY STARBUCKS" is lame and fake 'cause he's only sipping a 3-in-1 coffee, really! I mean it, I know some people who do it and has become the mainstream in some coffee shops. In addition to this, insert these people taking selfie right next to the Starbucks logo and cups.

5.)  Wearing different clothes and labeling it as expensive and prohibitive where in reality you just bought it in Tiangge or Ukay-Ukay. Wag mo lang ipapasilip yung etiketa at baka masapak ka nung taong niloloko mo! You know what? there's nothing wrong on buying and acknowledging bargain courtesies and Ukay-Ukays. Actually, you can find more useful stuff there since it comes with varieties with deflated prices and not to mention that some celebrities have been the patron of such kind.

6.)  Posting photos like you're a model when you just used a digital camera with a high mega pixel resolution. And the poorest is, pinangalanan mong "model shoot" yung album mo sa FB. Juice colored! Have a consideration, magkaron ka ng kahihiyan at baka pagtawanan ka pa! In addition again, insert these people who change their occupation as model when you just had a fun shoot, yes, a FUN SHOOT! You ain't out there posing like a real model, mind telling you.

7.)  There's nothing more annoying than to hear these inconceivable people saying "I don't want to go in public/wet market, so yucky!" with matching English pa, like conyo. Hindi sana nakakainis kasi talagang ganun ang scene dun, maputik, mabaho, at malansa, but do you think you own any rights to say that if your house is filthier or worse, you're living near the vicinity of squatters and dike? Shame on you!

8.)  Claiming yourself as a relative of a celebrity or supermodel.. You don't tell us that you're a cousin of a supermodel and probably, not a super close friend of a local celebrity. Utang na loob! Baka mamaya friends lang kayo nung model sa FB, sinabi mo na agad na friends kayo in real life. Magkaiba yun!

9.)  Hijacking people in a social circle is probably one of the most common and rampant scenarios that a social climber could do especially if the social climber is reckoned by the social. If they see that you're surrounded with such good-looking, famous and rich friends, they will wear your shoes to run around your circle. Di siya titigil hangga't di niya nananakaw yung mga kaibigan mo for his own benefit.

10.)  Newly branded boutique  just opened with the celebrities' participation which led to torrential people to come for the sake of good publicity. This recently happened when H&M unveiled their emporium in a mall in Mandaluyong. Nakakagulat yung mga dumagsa para lang makapag post sa facebook, instagram at twitter na present sila that day, kahit na kakapiranggot lang na medyas yung binili nila, masabi lang na they purchased an H&M brand. Aba matinde!

11.)  Stealing food photos from the internet and posting it on your Instagram account as your own credit just to boast with full force hashtags. This is derp!

12.)  Claiming that you're a fan of international tv series and movies when you don't actually put any interest on giving a glance to its numerous series because you don't really understand them.

Why Did I End Up In BulSU?

"Ang panget ng uniform ko, lilipat ako sa (Universtiy's/College's name). Maganda kasi uniform nila dun."
How many times did I hear this shallow and irresponsible reasoning? Reasons why students usually leave their school and enroll themselves in other school, aside from the the other valuable and valid reasons like :

- Prof sucks!
(Unfair, with favoritism, indolent and just plain sh*t)

- You're in a remote area and the school is in a far faraway land.

- The tuition fee is highly expensive!

- Bad record or you've been kicked out.

The rest, I don't know. These are the common reasons.

When I was in 4th year high school, I had a friend, and he was studying in University of Sto. Tomas (UST). He was taking up BS in Tourism Management and was a 1st year college student that time. He didn't like their affiliated uniform so he transferred to Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) coz the design of the uniform there is way better for guys.

Me : Saan naman? And why?

Walang kwenta. Parang salesman sa SM Department Store!

Me: Wow ha! Yaman! Dahil lang sa uniform?! Gago ka ba?

He: Basta, sa Lyceum ako lilipat, maganda uniform dun. Lakas maka professional.

Me: Ikaw bahala, ano sabi ng parents mo?

He: Sige lang daw. May magagawa ba sila?

Honestly!

So it's really annoying and that was an immature decision to be made by a student like him. When you're schooling, the quality of teaching is the basis and that matters, not its solace, though facilities, resources and technologies that are available in school should be considered for enhancing the betterment of each student, but man! Uniform won't kill your dream.

Well, if you'd ask the title of this post to me, I'd probably apply my contained reasons written above. I don't have the capability to study in an expensive university 'cause we're not as rich as what you think (mukha lang, nadadala nang porma haha), that's why my parents and I chose Bulacan State University, for it is cheaper, and a government school. But I really have this MAIN REASON.

When I graduated in High school, I had this plan of being enrolled in Manila, Far Eastern University to be specific, 'cause I wanted a new environment. I wanted to see new faces. I wanted to have liberation around me and I wont coincide with that, I just want to be more matured and open. But my mom did not allow me, coz during that time, we've had a harsh bitterness in the family, my parents' business flopped down, and worst, my father just died. Since we're no longer capable of supporting my education that time and being enrolled to any famous universities became a roughed plan. I thought of applying for a scholarship, but that one isn't my thing. I'm too lazy going back and forth for the requirements. I have the brain (not to be haughty), I'm just too indolent. My sister was in La Consolacion College of Manila and I envied her for being in a great college and she's in Manila. She had an opportunity to choose whether to study nursing in University of Sto. Thomas, Far Eastern University, Centro Escolar University and University of the East. Life is unfair! I told mom that I would not go to college unless if I'd go with the original plan of being enrolled in FEU, so I stopped schooling. Man! Mothers are stoned, once in a while, oftentimes. So I started to feel the plague in my life, coz of the unwanted fact of studying here in Bulacan, for damn times, I had to stop? I'm over thinking of this situation, it went mundane. Seriously? I know that it was all my decisions and actions that took place. I worked in different call center companies to divert stuff, and I got used of the life in Manila, not a student, but an employee. It sucks, unending sucks. After my semi long journey of being a callboy (term used for a call center agent), I went back to Bulacan to live my life as a vagrant bud inside our compound, 'cause I'm tired of my callboy status.

I have a high school friend, she's an HRM student in BulSU. She excitedly broke the news that she's been seeing my first love around their school campus. I didn't know what to feel that time. I've been looking for a chance and opportunity to see my childhood/puppy love ever since, and I did not expect that she's just around? I thought I lost her forever, without clues where her footprints are. That day, I'm just kilometers away on seeing her again. After 9 years during 2012, I know that our paths would cross again.

"I hate the damn fact! Ayoko sa BSU, kaya nga di ako nag-aral dun kasi gusto ko sa Manila, pero fuck! Dun pala siya nag-aaral, bakit ngayon ko lang nalaman? Ngayong alam ko nang dun siya, lulunukin ko na ba yung pride ko? Pero kung sa BulSU din pala bagsak ko, de sana nun pa lang, right after graduation, nag-aral na ko, de sana 4th year college na ko. Kainis! Bakit nangyayari sa'kin 'to? Sige na nga! Dun ako papasok  for her, ONLY FOR HER! Para masundan ko lang siya."
(doing the intraspersonal communication)

MAIN REASON:

I studied in BulSU just to set my feet on the same ground where hers are. I did not expect that the environment there is somehow better. The University is amazing, and there's really a quality of education, people are nice too.
As you can see, I don't know if you'll see my reason of studying here as one of the naive reasons as what I have detoxified, because I was only convinced to loosen up my pride by a clueless girl when my parents couldn't. If you really found love, you must continue following and catching it. The destiny is in every individual's hands and actions. Even if it takes forever, that's my opinion.
Being in Bulacan State University is enough, 'cause this is the only place where I've reconciled with my happiness again, metaphorically speaking. I don't care if it is not as famous as your school. I don't care if it is not as private and highly facilitated as those of what you've had or experienced, well, my contentment wouldn't be justified if I had pursued my obstinate mindset to be in FEU back then, and I just realized that things happened for a reason. I am contented now, that's all I could say. Thank You Mica! Now that you've finally left the university, I feel a little uninspired. But I'd finish my degree here since you were the only person that pushed me to feel all the systems here, even though if it's out of your consciousness. It's your ability to inspire people without doing anything.

"Namimiss ko magpapansin sa'yo. Namimiss kong habulin ka ng palihim. I miss you a lot" :)

A Haul Of "James Yap"

I just found out that being compared to James Yap and/or being "addressed" as James Yap isn't good when you have your own identity. I feel like I cannot make it on my own, seriously. It's actually a pleasure and it increases my self-esteem, of course, who wouldn't want to have a resemblance of someone who's really good-looking? But when excess, it's quite idiocy, as if like it's a motif of genetic print.

I want to share all these conversations where I happened to be adopted by James' biological mother as his little brother, METAPHORICALLY SPEAKING..

When I was in 4th year high school, my English teacher happened to notice that resemblance, and that was the first James ball-throw.. During his term, we've had a numbering system.

Sir Carlo: Who's Rafhael Lorenzana?
Me: Sir! *raising my hand*
Sir Carlo: Oh! Okay! 18! James Yap!
Me: Po?
Sir Carlo: You're number 18! Sakto! Kamukha mo si James Yap
Me: Eh what's with 18 po?
Sir Carlo: Jersey number niya.
Classmates: yun oh!!! James Yap! Purefoods player!
Me: Sir di naman *quite embarrassed* (I really thought that he was trippin' out)

So I was renamed as James Yap and it went a long way.

*********************************************************************

When I was working as CSR..

T.L: May James Yap pala tayo dito sa team eh.

*that time, I knew that he was referring at me*

Co-officemates: Sir sino?

T.L: Eto oh! *pointing at me*

Co-officemates: tingnan nga namin! Woooww!!

*Diametrically, few of them were not convinced, but majority were.*

*I WAS SPEECHLESS THE WHOLE TIME, I DON'T KNOW IF I AM BEING EMBARRASSED OR BEING COMPLIMENTED* (All caps to feel the intensity of my feelings) LOL!*

Then after that, whenever I meet them inside the office, they used to greet me James Yap, then I've decided to use James as my name whenever I talk to customers.

****************************************************************

When I was walking along tiangge...

Girl Vendor 1: Uy!! Halika dali! May pogi!!!

Girl Vendor 2: Wait!! Oo nga! Kahawig ni James Yap!!

Girl Vendor 1: Oy James Yap!!

*I looked back. I did that because I'm used of my so-called name tag*

*********************************************************************

I just saw a comment on my friend's myspace account where my photos have been published..

Critic: Bro sino yan?
Friend: Si Ralph..
Friend: Talaga? Hahaha
Critic: Oo.

I intervened..

Me: LOL! Ang layo naman po ng itsura namn. Masyadong gwapo yun para maging kamukha ko! Haha

******************************************************************

When I was buying at the wet market.. There was a guy vendor whose age is at 33, just a wild guess..

Me: Kuya magkano ho sa pork chop?
Vendor: Ilang kilo ba?
Me: hmm, mga 8 pieces lang po.
Vendor: *stated the price*
Me: Kukunin ko po
Vendor: May kamukha ka.
Me: Sino po? Si James Yap?
Vendor: Oo! Pano mo nalaman?
Me: Naku kuya! Di lang naman ikaw unang nagsabi niyan.
Vendor: Ayos ah! Eto oh.
Me: Salamat po.
Vendor: Salamat. Bumili pa sa'kin si James Yap. Hahaha!
Me: Hala! Di naman, si kuya! Hahaha

********************************************************************

I once involved myself in doing church activities, and I got the chance to become one of the youngest Lector in town. My co-Lectors introduced me to our priest, Father Niel.

Bro 1: Father, may bago po tayong Lector. Si Rafhael po
Me: Good Afternoon po father.
Me: 19 po father.
pangalan. Ikaw ba'y kumakandidato sa kung saan man?
Me: Naku! Saka wala
naman po akong pinapapabanguhan ng pangalan. Calling po talaga .
Bro 1: Bakit ho father?
Priest: Eh ke gwapong bata nere brother. Baka mamaya eh nauntog lang 'to kaya narito. Ere at kamukha
          pa nung nagbabasketball.. Si ano..
Bro 1: Sino po father?
Bro 2: Si ano, si Yap! Si Yap ba father?
Bro 1: James Yap?
Priest: Oo siya nga. Eh kita mo't artistahin ka pa. Ikaw ba'y handang maglingkod talaga?
Me: *chuckles* si father naman. Opo. Seryoso po ako sa pagle-Lector.
Priest: Kung gayon eh okay yan.
Me: opo, eh religious lang ho talaga :)
Priest: Oh siya James, este, ano ulit pangalan mo?
Me: Rafhael po :)
Priest: Brother Rafhael, welcome to the Ministry of Lectors :)

That one really cracked something so cultural. Hahaha

**************************************************************************

While I was riding on the bus, going home from SM North to Bulacan. I was standing the whole trip because seats were fully occupied by the passengers..

Bus Conductor: Boss, kayo ho?
Me: (Name of our place) po. Estudyante.
Bus Conductor: I.D po?
Me: Wait lang po.......... kuya eto.
Bus Conductor: Ikaw ba 'to?

My ID has my other picture being pasted on it because I don't really like the ID picture itself.

Me: Oo naman kuya, bakit?
Me: Ganun?
Me: *face down, totally embarrassed*
Bus Conductor: Oh James Yap! I.D mo.
Me: Si kuya kasi eh, nakakahiya -_-

SEVERE!!! I don't know if it's a form of humiliation since I'm really humble. Hahaha!

*************************************************************************

When I was reciting in my professor's subject, Filipino...

Me: *reciting*........ *finished*
Prof: oo tama yun.... Teka lang hijo, tayo ka nga ulit..
Me: Po? Bakit ma'am? *nervous, I thought I've done something offensive*
Prof: Kanina pa kita pinagmamasdan eh, may kamukha ka..
Me: Po? Sino po ma'am?
Prof: Alam mo yung Binoy Henyo? Yung tatay ni Binoy.
Me: Si Luis Alandy ma'am?
Prof: Oo! Si Luis Alandy!
Me: ngek! Parang di naman..
Angelique: Ma'am si James Yap kaya kahawig niyan. Diba Migs? Pinagkakalat mo nga eh haha
Me: LOL! Sila nagsasabi, ako nga tong todo tanggi.
Prof: James Yap? Hawig din nga niya. Aba hijo! Dami mo palang kahawig. O sige upo ka na.

*********************************************************************

When I was on my way to school, these two tricycle drivers around the area asked if I'd take a ride..

T.D 1: James Yap! Pa-autograph!
T.D 2: Sino?
T.D 1: Ayun oh!
T.D 2: Ahhhh! Yung anak ni ate Emma! James Yap sasakay ka?
Me: Huh?
T.D 2: Sus! Kamukha mo kasi, sakay na!
Me: Hahahaha sabi ninyo eh
T.D 2: Kamusta ba kayo ni Kris?
Me: Break na kami diba?
Hahaha

And so on...... I've been receiving these comparison for 6 years and I can actually say that I am used of those. The haul of James Yap has a long way to go, but if you'd ask me, I won't accede. Simply because I don't really see him on me. :)

The Story of Pichi Pichi

Ever heard of a story wherein the heading isn't particularly describing its periphery, but it serves as the bridge to know where it all started? If not, check this one.

I should not continue writing this entry since I've already put a period with my "love on purpose" stamp, and I should really stop giving so much attention on this. When I say stop, literally, stop! But I've decided to have a little diary again about this one. I just don't know how to release all the "kilig" and the momentum of my feelings because I can't tell it to my closest friends one by one, I mean before I make it to the last person, I am dehydrated and it would sound like scripted, and I really have to share it, I can't afford to lose my self-control if I just nourished this alone, so I gues, creating this entry will do.

Alright! Tagalog or English?
As usual, you can really feel the momentum in Tagalog since I am a Filipino.

September 24, 2013 and there's a Food Exhibit at College of Home Economics, both FPE and HRM participate and they really offer nice delicacies.

We're not heading there for a registration pero nasa gilid kasi yung daan papuntang building namin, so madadaanan talaga namin sila.

Me: Ay p*ta**i**!!! Si Mica! Bestfriend atras muna tayo!!
Marj: Teka! Sila Queenie.
Me: Nandun na yun. Wait lang, di ako makakadaan. Contained na ko!
Marj: Tara na! Kunwari di mo na lang napansin.

Hindi!! Di naman talaga yan nasa isip ko during that time. Kasi ganito yan.

Mica: Uy!! :)
Me: Uy! :)
Mica: Bili ka naman sa'min.
Me: Sa booth ninyo? Ano ba tinda ninyo?
Mica: Basta!
Me: Magkano ba yan?
Mica: Wait! May ticket ka na ba? May stub ka na?
Me: Uhmm, wala pa yata?
Marj: Ako meron na bestfriend
Me: San mo nakuha yan?
Marj: Binigyan kami kanina, 10 pesos lang.
Me: Ah, eh mura lang. Ayos ah!

PWEDENG MAGMURA? EH P*T*NGI**!! KUKUHA LANG KAMI NG MINION STUB KAILANGAN TALAGANG HAWAKAN YUNG FORCEP KO?! PWEDE NA KONG MAMATAY, AS IN MISSION ACCOMPLISHED NA KO NUN EH!! HAHAHA.

Heaven's with me lang kanina nasabi ko. Tama pala ang diskarte ko. Di sumablay, sumobra pa nga ang balik. Hahaha

Me: Magkano ba yung ticket?
Mica: Ayun! P20.00 one pack of stub. P10.00 ticket. )
Me: Alin diyan?
Mica: Yung 20 na please!
Me: Wow!
Me: Oo nga eh pero okay lang, as in super okay lang!
Me: Sino bang hindi? Di ko 'to expect saka jusko!! Hinawakan pa ko sa kamay :">
Marj: ayiiiieee!!!

Oo! I didn't really expect that. Another gulat! Woooohhh!!

Mica: Bilin mo na 'to
Me: Ano yan?
Mica: Pichi pichi.
Me: Magkano naman yan?
Me: Eh masarap naman ba yan?
Mica: Oo naman, promise, please!
Me: Oh sige, I'll get that, pag to di masarap ibabalik ko ha
Mica: Di yan, masarap yan. Promise (sabay taas ng left hand)
Me: Joke lang. Alam kong masarap to. Favorite ko to (dudugtungan ko sana ng. "Masarap to kasi ikaw nagbigay sakin")
Mica: Yes! Thank you :)

Bakit? May ano?

Sobra ko'ng naaliw and that made my day. May custard kasi.

Sorry if it ended up in the house like this. I put it inside my bag and being careless carrying it, I assumed it was tapped and rolled inside.
